Documentary Film
Max Pulcini produced, co-directed, co-wrote and co-edited a documentary film titled “Rise of the Tigers,” which chronicles the story of the Kensington Tigers football team. This football team finds its home in one of Philadelphia’s roughest neighborhoods, Kensington. While Kensington is the home of violence, gangs and drug dealing, Coach Ellwood Erb has dreams of bringing glory to the neighborhood he grew up in, and giving the current generation of Kensington youth the gift that is high school football.
Pulcini, along with Matthew Albasi, wrote scripts, conducted interviews, directed, edited and oversaw the film through pre-production, production and post-production, ensuring that the final product was of the highest quality possible in terms of its narrative and visual composition and captivation.
